The SMX Air Sport Jacket is designed with tech mesh on the rider's abdomen, back, and inner arms, along with 450D polyfabric reinforcement on the outer arms and shoulders. It also features perforated 450D polyfabric on the upper chest for airflow during warm weather riding. The jacket includes polyamide stretch material on the back, shoulders, and sides, as well as high-density stretch material on the upper back for freedom of movement and an adaptive fit. The jacket is compatible with the Tech-Air 5 Airbag System and comes with a detachable windproof liner for climate control.
For protection, the SMX Air Jacket includes DFS Lite external shoulder sliders and Nucleon Flex Plus CE Level 1 shoulder, elbow, and forearm armor for impact protection. With a CE level A rating overall, the jacket is suitable for everyday commuters and weekend riders in warm climates. It is Tech-Air Ready and includes strategic stretch inserts, an ergonomic design for flexibility, waist adjusters, and a waterproof compartment.
The jacket also meets CE Category II EN 17092-4:2020 standards and features CE Level 1 EN1621-1:2012 Alpinestars Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 shoulder and elbow armor.
